Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
A little late but we wanted to say a big thank you to all our IG friends who sent us heart felt Christmas cards.
Due to our postal office being extremely overwhelmed, we received most of our cards this month!
And wow, they are all just so beautiful.
I am forever grateful for the relationships Instagram has allowed us to establish! Thank you all for following our little journey we call Life.

P.S. I hope everyone got our Christmas cards! As I look back at mine, I am a bit embarrassed about how they look! I usually go to Walgreens and use a premade template, but I don't know any stores out here that does that. This year I will find one way in advanced. So watch out. Our 2017 Christmas Cards are going to rock!

Outward Hound's Latest Toys

Well we knew today was going to be a good day when it started with a delivery of the hottest and latest @outwardhound products.
The new Tough Seamz are absolutely adorable and durable. The toys are supported with "Chew Shield Technology" and have no stuffing!
We received the lion, elephant, bulldog, and snake.
So far York and Ro have taken a major liking to the blue elephant. And I, of course, have taken a major liking of the english bulldog. Should I keep it for myself? HA!
The pups also got to try out the new Petstages New Hide. What a strong bone!
Another long lasting toy, just like the Bionic Stick and Bone.
Overall, we are still 100% crazy about Outward Hound.

Vet Visit

Soooo... I had an American moment and read the dates of pups vaccinations wrong. The date was 1/3/2017. I was like omg I'm late. Until after making the appointment to realize it really meant March 1st 😂.
Well we went anyway for a check up and a deworming! The pups love going to the vets and I must say they are so terribly behaved. Both York and Ro think they only weigh 2 pounds and jump on anyone and everyone.

York and Ro are both healthy, yay.
While there, I asked our vet for some new food tips! York and Ro eat cooked meals of ostrich or chicken with veggies. However, lately I've been noticing a few of the food bags has been off. Thus, giving babes upset tummies. Our vet suggested to feed half pebble and half real meat. I will give it a try and see how it works and keep you all updated!

In the meantime, any food suggestions would be awesome! xo!

#nameoriginchallenge

We have been tagged by a few friends for the #nameoriginchallenge.
Both York and Ro’s names have significant meaning behind them.
York comes from New York. New York is the place that York’s dad and I decided to take our long distance relationship further. So 4 months later, I was on a plane to South Africa. And not even two weeks later ,York was placed on my lap. HA.

Ro’s name is super special to me. I lost my mom, Roseann, to pancreatic cancer when I was 16. Her nickname was Ro Ro. So Ro is named after our favorite angel. I didn’t want to name her Ro Ro but I find myself calling her that all the time. It felt so good to say Ro Ro after so many years of not hearing it or saying it. My dad calls her Ro Ro too. It also makes him super happy. We miss you mom. <3

Update: Bionic Toys

For two weeks, both pups have been chewing on the Bionic Toy Stick + Bone. It has now become the favorite toys in the household. Well, two weeks of wear and tear and the Bionic Toys still look like new!

Beside having a few tooth marks, these toys have held up to expectations.
They even can withstand holding 80 pounds of York.
