Thank you @dexasintl for sending us a Snack & Distract Licking Mat to test out. @dexasintl is a company based in Texas, USA that creates some of our favorite pet products. MudBuster, Snack-Duo, ScrubBuster, Everyday Collapsible Pet Bowls... just to name a few.
And now we can add the Snack & Distract Licking Mat to our list of favorite things!
@dexasintl created a durable silicone licking mat that features a challenging pattern of small, soft bristles with "tri-nibs" that provide extra stimulation to ease a dog's anxiety or boredom. Simply add any spreadable snack onto the bristles, stick the mat onto a smooth surface, and let your dog enjoy! What I absolutely love is the catch tray that is at the base of the mat that catches all drips and spills. 
On our Snack & Distract licking mats I had spread peanut butter on one and greek yogurt with strawberries on the other. Other spreadable ideas are pumpkin, wet canned food, mashed banana, and cottage cheese. Also, you can also freeze your mat!
Dogs naturally will lick to calm themselves, and licking releases endorphins. @dexasintl is a great tool to use for positive reinforcement while grooming, bathing or crate training.
