Dognition Review

I have had the Dognition website bookmarked on my desktop since August of this year. So  I was more than thrilled to collaborate with Dognition earlier this month!
Dognition is a series of tests you perform with your dog that will leave you with a better understanding of your dogs mind. How awesome is that?
 
I started the first assessment with Ro.
I believe it is best to do the tests with someone. Dognition will also advise you to do it with a partner.
So I completed the tests with my husband.
We completed  her assesments over three days. For the assesments, all you need is lots of treats and a few house hold materials. We had fun completing the tests. The tests are explained in great detail and are easy to complete!
 
Well... Surprise! Ro is a Maverick!
She is indepenedent but still bonded to me. Ro is very collaborative and trustworthy.
It was spot on!
Ro is definetly independent, she loves her cuddles but she is more than happy to keep herself company! And she is the sweetest thing, she scored high on empathy levels. And for her to be trustworthy just made my heart skip a beat. From the results, I now have a better understanding of how Ro thinks which will help me when teaching her a new trick. I also know how Ro prefers me to communicate to her. It is simply amazing.

I can not wait to find out York's results. We are going to start his this week!
