If you are following us on Instagram, you may have seen our new trailer!
One of my dreams is to travel with the pups, and now it has become a reality.
@girlplusbulldogs team will share traveling tips and must-see places that are pet friendly.

This weekend we took the trailer out for the first time to Leeds, Utah.
  • We stayed at the St. George/ Hurricane KOA. This KOA is across the street from Red Cliffs National Conservation Area.
Red Cliffs is one of my favorite places to go with dogs. Why?
1) Only cost $5 for a day pass.
2) It's like a mini Zion, but with no crowds!
3) There generally is a flowing river and small rock pools. Perfect for dogs to take a dip in!

I recommend going to Red Cliffs in the morning. 1) to avoid crowds 2) to beat the heat.
We went at 7 am and did not see another person or dog! We had the whole place to ourselves.
TIP: always keep enough water for you and your pup. Don't forget to take a collapsible water bowl!
Don't have dogs? Red Cliffs is a must-see with or without, as it provides miles of wonderful hiking and stunning scenery.

  • 5 minutes away from the St. George/ Hurricane KOA is Quail Creek State Park.
You can park along the road and walk down to the lake free of charge! AND once again dogs are allowed.
Surrounded by beautiful red rocks, Quail Creek is like a mini Lake Powell!
Feel free to rent a paddle board or kayak. Have a boat? Bring that too!
Keep an eye out for turtles, frogs and lizards!

  • 20 minutes away from the St. George/ Hurricane KOA is Pioneer Park.
Pioneer Park cost $0 to enter. This park is 52 acres of beautiful red rock formations.
I suggest climbing to the top to take in the magnificent views of St. George.
At Pioneer Park, I have the pups leashed and free. When we get higher, I put them on their leads to be safe.
TIP: go in the morning or at sunset as the temperatures year round at this park are very high.

Leeds/ St. George are filled with natural pet friendly sights!
