One of my dreams is to travel with the pups, and now it has become a reality. @girlplusbulldogs team will share traveling tips and must-see places that are pet friendly. This weekend we took the trailer out for the first time to Leeds, Utah.
1) Only cost $5 for a day pass. 2) It's like a mini Zion, but with no crowds! 3) There generally is a flowing river and small rock pools. Perfect for dogs to take a dip in! I recommend going to Red Cliffs in the morning. 1) to avoid crowds 2) to beat the heat. We went at 7 am and did not see another person or dog! We had the whole place to ourselves. TIP: always keep enough water for you and your pup. Don't forget to take a collapsible water bowl! Don't have dogs? Red Cliffs is a must-see with or without, as it provides miles of wonderful hiking and stunning scenery.
Surrounded by beautiful red rocks, Quail Creek is like a mini Lake Powell! Feel free to rent a paddle board or kayak. Have a boat? Bring that too! Keep an eye out for turtles, frogs and lizards!
I suggest climbing to the top to take in the magnificent views of St. George. At Pioneer Park, I have the pups leashed and free. When we get higher, I put them on their leads to be safe. TIP: go in the morning or at sunset as the temperatures year round at this park are very high. Leeds/ St. George are filled with natural pet friendly sights! #visitutah <3
